Drive time show host -- YFM, TV Personality, DJ and MC

Tholi B was born in Venda where he spent most of his childhood, he moved to Jo’burg in the early 90’s where he spent most of his High school years at Florida Park High in the Westrand, he was also elected as a prefect in his matric year in 1998 showing true leadership qualities.

On completion of his matric he then went to Allenby Campus and studied Sound engineering and worked for 7 years in the post production industry as a sound designer.

The real payoff came when Tholi B joined AK on “The Joint” on yfm presenting a feature called “The Joint Street team” in 2005 which was his brainchild (showing his proMactiveness creativity). Soon after Tholi B started recording demos as an OnMair Presenter, which worked out for him at the beginning of 2007. His first show on yfm was on the 1st of April 2007,which was a graveyard show.

It took Tholi B just a year to get a primetime slot on yfm after his programme managers realized his talent. He presented a 12:00 – 15:00 weekday show in 2008 – 2010 which was a huge success for the youth station. This led to him moving to the popular 18:00 – 21:00 slot for 2 years 2010 – 2012. His hard work and determination has resulted in great success as he currently hosts the afternoon drive time show on Yfm called "En Route 6".

He is very popular for being a trendsetter, a people's person, an inspiration to the youth who is always looking to give a helping hand to others all in the fight for the betterment of the human race.

When he is not on air, Tholi B is a Hip Hop club/party DJ and a prominent master of ceremony.

He also adds entrepreneur to his many titles. He owns a Production company and a content download and mobile marketing Company.

Gigging Experience

• Host of SABC 1`s prime time show "Ba Kae", an entertainment talk show with South African Icons as guests: Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse, Mango Groove, Joe Mafela, Vicky Sampson, Alex J, Abigail Kubeka and many more.

• One of SA`s most prominent voice over artists with MTN, Build it, KFC, Short Left, Castle Lite, Afcon, 8ta, Mutual &(Federal, Telkom and many more all under his belt.

• Presented and handed over a SAMA for best Hip Hop in 2008 with Lira, were HHP walked away with the honors.

• MC at yfm`s 10th Birthday celebration at Emperors palace in 2007, and many other yfm events.

• MC at Bassline for a Ghetto(Ruff(event that included some international guests in 2007.

• Judged at the Mr & Miss Varsity College pageant atPlatinum in Four ways in 2007.

• MC at ANCYL treasure general Pule Mabe`s Birthday in 2009 in Rosebank.

• MC at Mahoota`s Spring day party in 2008 with Sponsors such as SABC 1, Redbull, Yfm, SAB etc..

• MC at the Hunter`s Zanzibar sendMoff party in March 2011.
