About DJ Mphulo

Dj Mphulo is a man of many talents and a jack of many trades, but it’s as a music producer & DJ par excellence that DJ Mphulo seal his name on the popular public’s lips. Born in Polokwane and raised JHB was educated in his early years by his fathers extensive collection of jazz and quality Soul music.

By the age of 19, he landed his first residencies at various clubs in Jhb, playing Hip Hop for matinee clubs in Jozi: Razzmatazz & Q's and night Live RNB and African influenced sounds @ Calabash, Tsa Afrika ,Stage & Enigma- brand clubbing in the late 90's jhb scene.

Since then Dj Mphulo has become a pillar of the diverse Music scene in JHB, with feature sets at most of the top clubs in the Jhb area and nationally with a growing Presence on various radio formats:. Through his Radio presence and various mixes like: The Gospel compilation with Thuso Motaung on Comutanet's Taxi cassetes, Bob Mabena's compilation on National cassettes to even Oskido's Gauteng uptempo cassettes: really made him an all rounder when it comes corporate events.

To him Music is a Healer that brings people from all cultural backgrounds together on the same dancefloor to have a good time. Dj Mphulo is known to bring party people with his skills of reading the crowd and picking the right record at the right time, whether it's a Hip-Hop Crowd, AfroPop/Jazz, dance or House Crowd

He has taken the step also up to the international DJ circuit and played Germany, Spain, Dubai, Russia, and UK including gigs at clubs like 360-Dubai La --vida – UK, El Divino (Ibiza).
