The first festival of its kind in South Africa, CTWMF is for all fans of music- especially those who love the World Music genre.The festival is also designed to cater to those who are simply culturally curious…
Encompassing traditional and roots music, world, dance and modern world adaptations, the festival will cater to all lovers of live music.
For one weekend, Cape Town will be host to 32 acts, representing 10 countries from 3 continents, performing on 4 stages located within the City Bowl.
The festival will also host a series of music and industry workshops leading up to the main event at multiple venues around Cape Town, including Harrington Square, the Assembly and the Mahogany Room.
The festival will feature:
– A main day/night live music stage for both local and international artists
– A day time free stage and an intimate acoustic/listening space
– A late night Nu World dance stage featuring the best of world dance music
– A local craft market, food stalls and bars
